July 16, 2010 | CONVORBIRI LITERARE / Romania Three of Carolyns poems (Dawn Light,  When Within My Soul, The Hourglass of Time) have been published in CONVORBIRI LITERARE , issue 6, July, 2010, a major Romanian literary journal that was established in March of 1867.

July 16, 2010 | Swansea University / Wales Welsh poet and professor, Peter Thabit Jones, will use Carolyns book, The Nanose, which she hand-wrote and illustrated at the age of 9, in his class at Swansea University, Writing Childrens Literature, to show to his students the way the young, creative mind works. He also is gong to use the book in his course, The Other Half of the Sky: Eight Women Writers, to show the growth in a writers vision from childhood to adult.

February 13, 2010 | The Gallery at Ventana / 48123 Highway One | Big Sur, CA The Gallery at Ventana has re-opened with wonderful new management. At the grand-opening celebration, Deanna Edwards recited Carolyn Kleefeld’s love poems, accompanied on keyboard and guitar by internationally respected musician/producer, Martin Shears. Ms. Kleefeld’s oil paintings intimately embraced the surrounding walls, bringing to life the passion and sensuality within her poems. It was a special evening that set the mood for romance, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Books, signed by the author, were available for purchase.

March 10, 2009 | Swansea University / Swansea, Wales, UK Peter Thabitt Jones is incorporating the poetry of Carolyn Mary Kleefeld and David Wayne Dunn in his course “POETS AND POETRY”. This course teaches the full craft of poetry, considers major poets and poetry movements, and includes a section called ’Poets Live’. In ’Poets Live’, students study audio recordings and videos of poets (including poets such as Seamus Heaney, Ted Hughes and Dylan Thomas).
